Meanwhile, the opposition has repeatedly criticized Sir, accusing the NDA alliance of taking voting rights from people.
Earlier in the day, MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra expressed strong reservation against Sir, accusing him of “killing democracy”.
Priyanka Gandhi posted on X, alleging that the election was first “rigged” in Maharashtra by inflating the voter list, and now, efforts were being made to remove the names of voters in Bihar. He labeled Sir practice as a “conspiracy to take away the right to vote”.
“First, in Maharashtra, the elections were rigged in the elections by inflating the voter lists. Now, in Bihar, attempts are being made to do this by removing the names of voters. There is a conspiracy to snatch the right to vote given by the Constitution to the ‘vote ban’ imposed under the guise of Sir. We are standing against every effort.
Several leaders, including opposition Lok Sabha leader, Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, stood on the stairs of Parliament at Makar Gate and protested against Bihar Sir, asked to stop the practice.
Bihar assembly elections are expected to be held in October or November at the end of this year; However, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has not announced the official date.
Whereas NDA, BJP, JD (U), and LJP will be looking at RJD, Congress and Left parties once again to continue their term in the blocks of India, he would be ignoring Nitish Kumar. (AI)
