‘Singham 3’: Rohit Shetty confirms Arjun Kapoor will play villain, first shares intense photo

Rohit Shetty has finally confirmed the rumors – Arjun Kapoor will be playing the villain in Singham Again. The filmmaker shared two photos of the actor with a mean avatar on Instagram to announce the big news. In one picture, Arjun is seen covered in blood with an evil smile on his face, while in another picture, he is seen posing with Ranveer Singh. Ranveer reprises his role as Simba in the film.

Sharing the pictures, Rohit wrote, “Insaan galati karta hai, aur usse uski saza bhi milti hai…Lekin ab jo aayega, wo shaitaan hai! What can I say – Introducing Arjun Kapoor!” Arjun also shared the photos and wrote, “Singham ka villain! Be a part of hit machine sir Rohit Shetty’s cop universe and feel on top of the world! I promise you, there will be mayhem #SinghamAgain.” Ranveer shared the photos with the caption: “My baba is the worst!!! ️.”

Fans took to the comments section to share their reactions. “It will be fun to watch Arjun Kapoor take on all the cops,” one comment read. “Gives me huge goosebumps…” added another. “This look is so dangerous,” a third comment read. “Now this is the reunion I’ve been waiting for,” one comment read, referring to the Gunday cast reunion. Coincidentally, it has been 10 years since it was released today.

It will be interesting to see Arjun Kapoor take on five super cops. For the uninitiated, Singham 3 aka Singham Again not only brings back Ajay Devgn as Singham, it also marks the return of Akshay Kumar as Veer “Soorya” Sooryavansh, and Ranveer Singh returns as Simmba. The film will also introduce Deepika Padukone as Singham, the first lady of the police world. Rohit also revealed that Tiger Shroff has been roped in to play a key role.

“Singham 3” is expected to be released on Independence Day, August 15, 2024.
