Williams Drivers Alex albon And Carlos Sainz Both have been disqualified from qualifying for qualification Singapore Grand Prix After his cars, technical investigations failed.
Albon qualified at 12th position on the grid, with Sainz 13th, but the pair will now begin behind the grid for Sunday’s race at Marina Bay Street Circuit.
Violation of the technical regulations of F1, in relation to rear-wings, means that their merit results were erased from the leaderboard.

Technical representative who read in Bauur’s FIA report: “The upward rear wing element adjustable posts were checked at car number 23 and 55 – both cars were more than a maximum limit of 85 mm on both sides of the rear wing exterior region.
“As this TR article is not in compliance of 3.10.10 grams, I am referring to the case to Steward for their confirmation.”
Effectively, this means that the rear-wing DRS flap was opening more than its permission. Under these circumstances is a disqualification general process, as it is a technical case.
So Albon will start from 19th, along with Sainz – who won in Singapore in 2023 – in 20th.
George Russell Took the position of the pole And the championship leader Oscar with Piastry will begin in third place with Max Vastapane. Lando will start fifth on Noris grid.
