Siddaramaiah-Shivkumar Power Pact 100 PC True; Nov Revolution In K’Taka CONG: BJP

Belagavi (Karnataka), 3 October (IANS) Leader of Opposition in Karnataka Legislative Assembly R. Ashok said on Friday that the Shakti-sharing system between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar has been “100 percent true” and claimed that the state has already boarded the rider.

Addressing reporters ahead of his visit to flood affected areas in Belagavi, Ashok reiterated his earlier prediction of “November Revolution”, which will see Siddaramaiah becoming a “outgoing CM”.

He said, “I have said that there will be a revolution of November and Siddaramaiah will become outgoing CM. I stand by my words. Within November and December, there will be a revolution,” he claimed.

The BJP leader allegedly cited the sidelines of a staunch supporter of Siddaramaiah, Kan Rajanna, who openly criticized Shivkumar.

Ashok said, “Shakti-sharing system is one hundred percent true, and bittering has already started.”

He further suggested that neither the Chief Minister nor his deputy will voluntarily abandon his claim in the top position.

Ashok commented, “CM Siddaramaiah will not let his post go. It is not in his character … Similarly, Die CM DK will not leave Shivkumar and continue his efforts to get the post.”

When the Shiv Sena’s Eknath Shinde Get, who joined hands with the BJP in Maharashtra, was questioned about the possibility of a political development, Ashok said that he was uncertain from the accurate nature of change, but confirmed that “the revolution was going to happen.”

Referring to the 2019 ‘Operation Lotus’, he clarified, “We have no intention to form the government.”

It can be remembered that Karnataka BJP led by former CM BS Yeddyurappa ensured the fall of the Congress and JD (S) coalition government and came to power in 2019 after ‘Operation Lotus’.

“We will prepare to face the election,” Ashok announced.

The opposition leader said, “People already believe that this government is dead, there is no development activity. CM is irresponsible; They only talk about sharing power. CM Siddaramaiah announced that he will remain CM for five years, while his own MLAs are questioning when he will step.”

Ashok called the present government a “Tughlaq government” and focused his focus on the dynamics of internal electricity rather than development.

He said, “This is a Tughlaq government and the worst state has seen. The association of contractors has written a letter about the 80 percent commission. They want to loot as much as possible,” he alleged.

Ashok also said to the management of the government’s resources, “The government has garbage and has no money. How can the district in -charge and other ministers visit flood affected areas? That is why they are busy with local elections to generate money.”

All boards and corporations have been reduced, alleging that students are protesting, demanding recruitment, as no appointments have been made in the last 2.5 years.

Meanwhile, the State Finance Department has clearly stated that there will be no recruitment and there is no money for salary. Asked about this, Ashok criticized the government, which instead of immediately, to focus on issues such as caste census.
