The 34-year-old, who recently finished third in the ITV reality series, addressed the claims directly during an appearance on ITV LORRAINE,
McGarty explained her relationship with Aitch, 25, whose real name is Harrison Armstrong, saying: “I mean, I’m over 10 years older than him, and honestly the rumors are bullshit. He’s like my little brother, I was like his big sister, and we just had the same energy levels, we were just hyper and silly, and that’s why we got along.”

“We’ll all keep in touch and I think the most beautiful thing about this experience is that you make friends for life,” he shared.
The actress admitted that she was initially skeptical of the common sentiment that the contestants become “one big family”, but now she believes wholeheartedly that “it’s really true, they’re my family now.”
During his interview with presenter Lorraine Kelly, McGarty also highlighted his distinctive yodeling, a skill that became a topic of discussion during his time in the camp.
“Yodeling is something I do at home, it’s something I learned during lockdown, I found a book and a CD and I decided to learn it, it’s a little party trick,” she said.

Looking ahead, the actress, who has previously lent her vocals to charity records, expressed a strong interest in performing upon returning to the UK, and said that she eventually aspired to achieve “a little of everything” in her career.
“My anxiety has been up and down for as long as I can remember, but I’ve learned a lot about myself here and I think it’s been somewhat of a healing process for me,” McGarty said in her exit interview on Sunday.
