The most talked about business reality TV show Shark Tank India returns for the third season after two successful seasons. With a larger panel of 12 sharks, the latest season promises to be even more exciting. Since its inception, Shark Tank India has enthralled the audience with its unique platform for budding entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas to potential investors. The show has grown in popularity, making it popular among Indian startup owners. In the most recent episode of Shark Tank India 3, a confectionery company came on stage to present its unique concept and surprised the judges.

Priyasha Saluja, owner of plant-based confectionery firm The Cinnamon Kitchen, pitched her case to the sharks Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, Anupam Mittal and Deepinder Goyal. They said their products contained no preservatives and the prepared snacks were completely gluten-free. During her presentation before the judges, Priyasha said that she founded her company in 2019 and has achieved remarkable success. He said sales totaled Rs 1,40,000 in the first year, but increased to Rs 12,50,000 the next year. Furthermore, Priyanshi surprised by announcing that her company’s consistent sales will result in sales of Rs 6 crore this year.

While Anupam Mittal pointed out the poor packaging of the products, most sharks showed interest in the venture. After a long conversation about The Cinnamon Kitchen and other features of the bread business, the Sharks began their talk by mentioning their interest rates.

After knowing the rates, Priyasha replied, “My credit score is very good. I am already getting a loan at a lower interest rate.” This left the Sharks even more stunned and Anupam Mittal asked them to reveal their credit scores. To everyone’s surprise at the panel, Priyasha reveals that it is 838.

After much negotiation, Aman Gupta made a final offer of Rs 60 lakh for 5 per cent equity and they sealed the deal.

There are some new names on the Sharks panel this year.
