Srinagar, May 31:- Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Higher Education, (Mentor District Srinagar), Shantamanu, on Saturday, chaired a meeting of the Civil Defense Coordination Committee at the meeting at DC Office Srinagar for ground preparations for civil security, emergency services and public assurance measures in Sivinagar district.
Shantamanu had a detailed evaluation of civil defense preparations, focusing on the readiness to handle emergency and ensure the safety of important establishments and residents in the district.
The ACS also discussed in detail all aspects of all aspects of civil defense measures, district preparations, exaggeration scheme and all aspects of essential services provided through any troublesome conditions. He reviewed the measures being taken to further strengthen the civil security system, ensuring important infrastructure and security of civil security.
He underlined the importance of uninterrupted coordination between various departments and agencies to enhance public confidence and emergency reactions and the effectiveness of confidence on the ground.
The ACS accepted the active measures taken by the District Administration Srinagar to strengthen civil defense measures and ensure rapid action during the Emergency.
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-day Bhat, which is also the Comptroller Citizen Defense Srinagar, apprised the meeting of civil security measures, superlative planning and preparations to deal with any emerging situation through a detailed powerpoint presentation.
He also informed the ACS about security and safety measures in important and important establishments in the district.
Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Dr. Ovis Ahmed, who was also present in the meeting, assured the district administration of all possible support from the corporation to handle the emergency.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mir Imtiaz-ul Aziz, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Edil Farid, Superintendent of Police, Omar Shah, Chief Planning Officer, Fayz Ahmed, Deputy Controller Civil Defense, R&B Superintendent Engineers, KPDCL, KPTCL, SDM West, Tehsilders, YS and S. Department.
