Shakira takes lie detector test The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Drew Barrymore.
The singer dances to her hit song Butts don’t lie It’s a fun sketch in which Fallon and Barrymore interpret her body’s signals through machine sensors placed on her hips.
Fallon was tasked with checking the singer’s body sensors. “Is everything connected?” he asked Barrymore, then turned to face the Colombian and told her: “You know what to do, Shakira.”
Shakira then began moving her hips to the tune in a resigned manner. After a dramatic analysis, Barrymore declared: “It turns out. They were telling the truth.” Shakira replied, “Told you so.”
Elsewhere on the show, Shakira spoke about her new album, Woman, stop crying (Women stop crying).
She explained that the album’s title refers to changes in society’s expectations of women. She disagrees with the idea that women should hide their pain and says they should be free to choose when and how to grieve.
Shakira also opened up about the seven years between the two. goldher last album and her current album, and blamed it on her ex-husband.
“I’ve been releasing music here and there,” the songstress explains, “but I think it’s been really hard for me to put together a body of work. I don’t have the time. It’s the husband factor.”
