Sunil Narine’s batting was spectacular during the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals. The West Indies star hit a 49-ball century. Earlier, Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson won the toss and opted to bat first against Kolkata Knight Riders. Rajasthan Royals brought Ravichandran Ashwin back into the starting XI while Jos Buttler was one of the substitutes. Both missed the last game due to injuries. Kolkata Knight Riders remain unchanged from the table-topping clash between the two teams ranked first and second on the table.

Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson said he chose to bowl first because the batting might be better in the second innings. “The batting might be better here but it doesn’t matter, we bowl first. It’s special to be back at Eden Gardens, it has a special atmosphere. Jos and Ashbai can play in this game,” Samson said.
KKR captain Shreyas Iyer also wants to bowl first if he wins. “Yes, we want to bowl first because the conditions were bad the first few days. We will go with the same team,” he said while bowling.
There is not much difference between the two teams, Kolkata Knight Riders have won 14 out of 27 games and Rajasthan Royals have won 13 games.
