Sexual violence in UK schools A public health crisis should be considered, a sexism specialist has warned.

When asked about an increase in sexual violence in schools by an audience member, Ms. Bates said: “We have a crisis in schools. This is a national emergency.

“We know one of the three teenage girls is sexually harassed in school and we know by a BBC freedom notice request that 5,500 sexual offenses – including 600 rapes – were informed to police in schools in UK in three years.
“If you do very disappointing mathematics on it, it means that a rape is being reported every day during school tenure.”
He continued: “This is a crisis, it is a public health crisis and needs a public health program. There should be legal guidance to give schools to work on it, and still there is something about it that we are not talking about.
“But if it is not a national emergency – a rape in schools per day – then I don’t know what is.”
Ms. Bates also warned that the role of deep porn may soon play in the misuse of girls in British schools.
