Seven clergy can be banned from the ministry on coffee sex abuse scandal

In an update on Thursday, the church stated that Bishop Paul and six others face disciplinary proceedings under Pastor Discipline Measures (CDM).

CDM results can be from a conditional discharge where no fine is imposed, removal from office, resignation and lifetime ban from the Ministry.

While a new process, replacing CDM, was approved by the first church Parliament in June, which included Defrocking, it is not thought that it will be on time for these cases.

Lord Carry, who was nominated in the Makin Report, was one of the 10 clergy as facing possible action in February.

But the NST has confirmed 89 -year -old Lord Carrie, Reverend Paul Perkin and Reverend Hug Palmer, no further action will be taken.

Since there is a 12 -month time limit to bring matters, NST had to ask to bring “CDM out of time” for the permission of the President of the Tribunal.

Out of 10 cases, only seven cases were allowed and the NST stated that it “fully respects the decision” from the “independent judicial process”.

Others facing CDM include Reverend Suu Coleman, wife of Kolman’s mustard heir, Sir Jamie Colman.

Makin’s report concluded that Smt Kolman was aware of the misuse of Smith before the Associate Minister Mrs. Kolman at St. Leonard’s Church in Okle, Hampshire.
