The group brings together countries that want to reduce dependence on concentrated manufacturing centers and promote cooperation between trusted partners in critical technologies.

The alliance was launched in 2025 with an initial group of countries with largely advanced manufacturing and technology-intensive economies.

India was not part of the founding members, although officials at the time indicated that discussions were ongoing with New Delhi.

Israeli leaders, in separate statements, have pointed to India’s technology talent base and innovation ecosystem as areas of strategic cooperation.
