Select Shortstop Jojo Parker with 8th pick in Blue Jas MLB Draft

Toronto Blue Jais selected Shortstop Jojo Parker in eighth place in the first round of Major League baseball draft on Sunday.

The 18 -year -old 6 -foot -2 Parker attended the mountain high school at Mississippi. He became the highest pick up from the pot.

He scored 13 domestic runs, 64 runs and batted. 489 with 35 RBI in the previous season.

The 200-pound athlete stole 30 locations for the Class 4A State Championship game to lead a tornado (29-8).

Parker, a right-handed pitcher at the high school level also set a record of 8–2 on the mound, with an average of 2.77 and 89 strikes in 55.2 innings with 89 strikes.

He is currently signed to play college baseball with Mississippi State University in the next season.

Hines are a prep -right that is listed in 6 -foot -2, 180 pounds. He was not expected to draft this high, but the hines have been up to 95 miles per hour with their fastball and are advanced in spinning the ball.

Junior National Team members Hines are known for their poetry and projectability on the mound. He participated in Spring Training Dominican Summer League and MLB Draft League camps.

He is committed to participate in Wake Forest.

Three additional players with Canadian relations were also selected on the first day of the draft.

San Diego, California’s Tyler Bremmer, a Canadian citizen through his parents, UC Santa went second in Los Angeles Angels after a major season in Barbara.
