Gandarbal, August 23, KDC: Secretary, Rural Development Department (RDD) and Panchayati Raj, Aizaz Asad, to assess progress today, inspected the construction work going on at Yeti Navas in Tulmullah, Tulmullah and completed the project time.
He was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Gandarbal, Jatin Kishore, Director RDD, Shabir Hussain Bhat, Executive Engineer Rev, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Genderbal and Block Development Officers of Panchayat Genderbal and Gandalbel, Lar and Tulamullah.
During the site’s visit, the Secretary reviewed the full stages of work and demanded a detailed briefing for the remaining components. He directed Executive Engineer REW to accelerate the speed of construction. He directed that any issue, especially related to the availability of funds, should be informed immediately to avoid unnecessary delays.
Emphasizing the importance of the project, Aijaz Asad outlined the requirement of strict adherence to the approved time -outline and quality standards.
The secretary said that once the Yati Navas, which will be completed, will greatly increase the housing and related facilities for the pilgrims visiting the historic Kheer Bhavani Temple. (KDC)
