Secretary in Agriculture Production Department reviews implementation of HADP projects in J&K

Srinagar, June 12: Secretary in the Department of Agriculture Production and Mission Director, Composite Agricultural Development Program (HATP), Sandeep Kumar, today said that in the successful implementation of HATP, a continuous and vibrant RS 1 lakh Cancer will be an important role in converting the agricultural and associated sectors of Jammu and Kashmir into a continuous and vibrant RS 1 lakh.

Presiding over a review meeting held at the Directorate of Agriculture, Lal Mandi, Srinagar, Sandeep Kumar emphasized the importance of output-based monitoring and real-time progress tracking to maximize the impact and efficiency. The review meeting focuses on 13 major HATP projects.

The Mission Director emphasized the requirement of tracking the requirement of the results over 92,000 units already established at the ground level under HATP schemes. He also underlined that the output-led project governance, skilled inter-departmental coordination, and strategic bottleneck resolution are important for achieving the goals of HATP.

Sandeep Kumar called for more accountability in strong final-meal delivery, data-operated monitoring system and implementation. He confirmed the government’s commitment to empower farmers, improve productivity and create permanent livelihood opportunities through HATP. (KDC)
