Security researchers have issued a new warning about Google Search. If we want to get any information then we first turn to Google search. Today, cybercriminals are taking advantage of this habit of ours. The rapid growth of Internet users has also led to an increase in cybercrime cases. Cybercriminals are busy trying to defraud people in new ways every day.

Cybersecurity company SOPHOS has detected a phrase that, if searched on Google, could give cybercriminals access to your personal information and potentially drain your bank account. Security firms have detected a program called Gootloader that allows cybercriminals to steal your personal and banking details.

Steal personal information

Cybercriminals specifically target the words people use when searching using SEO, or search engine optimization. When you search for these words on Google, a link will open, clicking on which will activate the Gootloader and give cybercriminals access to your system.
