School to reopen tomorrow after summer break: Sakina Itu

"The government will take a final decision on summer break extensions in Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow": Sakina Itu

Srinagar 7 July: Education Minister Sakina Itu said on Monday that all the educational institutions of Kashmir will open again after the summer holidays on Tuesday.

In a special conversation with Greater Kashmir, Sakina Itu said that schools under municipal areas of all districts will work from primary to class 12th from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. 8- 12 are for the rest of the schools.

He further said that schools in other rural areas will work from 8 to 12 am respectively.

The Education Minister told Greater Kashmir, “But after reaching home, the students will take a break of one hour and participate in online classes for two hours.”

He further clarified that no detail has been given in the summer vacation. “Schools will open again on Tuesday (July 8),” he said
