South Africa wicketkeeper-son Henrik Klassen announced his retirement from international cricket on Monday. Wicketkeeper-Bater, who made his debut in 2018, resorted to social media to declare his retirement.
Klassen posted on his Instagram, “This is a sad day for me because I have announced that I have decided to move away from international cricket. It took me a long time to decide what is the best for me and my family for the future. It was really a very difficult decision, but also that I have full peace.”
Klassen, who was played in 122 international matches for Protias, thanked his coaches during his cricket trip.
He said, “I have created a lot of friendship and relationships that I will make a treasure for life. Playing for Protease gave me a chance to meet the great people who changed my life, and for those who could not say enough thanks to you,” he said.
“My road was the most different to wear a proteus shirt, and there were some coaches in my career that kept believing in me – I will always be grateful for them.”

He said, “I will always be a big protease supporter and would like to thank me and everyone who supported me during my career.”
