TMC leader Shibu Hazra, the prime accused in the Sandeshkhali violence, was arrested on Friday. He was arrested from Najat area of ​​Basirhat in West Bengal.

Meanwhile, West Bengal DGP Rajeev Kumar said that Section 144 imposed in the region will be lifted within a day or two.
