Samsung Galaxy M55 5G, Galaxy M15 5G will be launched in India on this date

The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G has been confirmed to be launched in India soon along with the Galaxy M15 5G. The phones were previously teased to launch in the country, and their availability on Amazon was also confirmed. Now the India launch date of the smartphone has been announced. Additionally, Samsung revealed the phone’s color options and some key features, including chipset, camera, display, battery, and charging details. Notably, these phones were recently launched in select global markets.

The Galaxy M55 5G will be available in Denim Black and Light Green shades in the country, while the Galaxy M15 5G is confirmed to be available in three color options – Blue Topaz, Azure, and Stone Grey.

The Indian version of the Galaxy M55 5G will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. It will come with Vision Booster technology, which is said to help users see the screen clearly even in bright sunlight. The phone will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and support 45W wired fast charging.

In terms of optics, the Galaxy M55 5G will feature a triple rear camera unit, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). The phone is confirmed to feature a 50-megapixel front camera sensor for selfies and video calls. It will feature night photography features and AI-powered tools such as an image clipper and object eraser.

The Galaxy M15 5G, on the other hand, will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset and feature a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display. It also features a 50-megapixel triple rear camera unit. The phone will be equipped with a 6,000mAh battery and is said to have a battery life of up to two days.

The Galaxy M55 5G and Galaxy M15 5G models are also confirmed to come with Samsung Knox Security, while the former will also come with Samsung Wallet functionality.

Earlier leaks suggested that the Galaxy M55 5G will be launched in India at a price of Rs. The 8GB + 128GB option is priced at Rs 26,999, while the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants are likely to be priced at Rs. 32,999 respectively. Meanwhile, the Galaxy M15 5G is priced at Rs 13,499 for the 4GB + 128GB option and Rs 13,499 for the 4GB + 128GB option. The 6GB + 128GB version is priced at $14,999.
