MSPower users Report An alleged design rendering of the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G has been shared. The display of the phone has slim bezels and a centered punch-hole notch for the front camera sensor. The phone is available in two color options – black and light green. Estimated weight is 180 grams.
The rear panel of the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G houses a triple rear camera unit housed in three separate circular slots, vertically aligned with the LED flash unit at the top left corner. The power button and volume rocker appear on the right edge.
According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and be equipped with up to 12GB of RAM. It is said to come in two storage variants – 128GB and 256GB, with support for expansion up to 1TB storage via microSD card. The phone is likely to ship with Android 14-based One UI and is expected to receive fifth-generation OS updates as well as 5-year security updates.
In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G’s triple rear camera system is likely to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, an 8-megapixel sensor paired with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera is expected to feature a 50-megapixel sensor. The phone also supports popular camera features such as night photography, dual recording, and stable 4K video recording with OIS and Video Digital Image Stabilization (VDIS).
The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G is said to be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 45W wired super fast charging 2.0. For security, the phone could offer an in-display fingerprint scanner with Samsung Knox Vault. The dual-SIM-enabled phone is also expected to support Dolby Atmos audio along with Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC connectivity.
