Samsung announces One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI for these flagship devices

Samsung’s One UI 6.1 features Galaxy AI and debuted with the Galaxy S24 series in January. The Korean smartphone giant started rolling out updates to the Galaxy S23 series at the end of March. Samsung has now announced that it will soon bring the update to more older devices. Customized skins based on Android 14 will be available on Samsung’s 2022 flagship Galaxy smartphones and Galaxy tablets. The Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are confirmed to receive the One UI 6.1 update.

The Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphones will get some of the company’s artificial intelligence features. Samsung said the service will begin rolling out in early May, and the company also revealed which Galaxy AI features will be coming to the Galaxy S22 and other devices. Circle to Search with Google, Chat Assist, Interpreter, Live Translation, Note-taking Assist, Transcription Assist, Browsing Assist, Generated Edits, Edit Suggestions, and AI-Generated Wallpapers.

Circle to Search, powered by artificial intelligence, allows users to perform visual and text searches on Google without switching apps. Live Translation enables two-way real-time speech and text translation of phone calls. Chat assistance helps users chat in different languages ​​and adjust the tone of messages, while note assistance is used to organize tasks.

The One UI 6.1 update was released in January with the launch of the Galaxy S24 series. Custom Android skins have been available on the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Tab S9 series since the end of March.
