Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala team up for AR Murugadoss director after 10 years: Report

Over the past 30 years, Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala have starred in ‘Jeet’, ‘Judwaa’, ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’, ‘Jaan-E-Mann’ Worked well with movies like “Kick”. Their most recent project together was Sajid Nadiadwala’s directorial debut Kick (2014), which went on to become a box-office hit.

Now, a decade after Kik, Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala are reportedly reuniting for an expensive action film. From the looks of things, both Salman and Sajid Nadiadwala have set their sights on a director from the South film industry for this ambitious project.

There are reports that Sajid Nadiadwala has chosen AR Murugadoss to direct an action film with Salman Khan, which is expected to be released in theaters during the Eid weekend of 2025. Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala have been talking about working together for a while now. According to reports, when Nadiadwala and AR Murugadoss discussed the topic, the first person who came to mind was Salman. According to reports, when the producers mentioned the film to Salman, the superstar immediately said “yes”. The action entertainer is a global production and will reportedly be filmed in multiple countries this year.

AR Murgadoss made his Hindi film debut with Aamir Khan starrer Ghajini, a remake of his own Tamil film of the same name, directed by Su Starring Suriya. His second Hindi film was “Holiday” starring Akshay Kumar, another Hindi remake of his Tamil film “Thupakki”. In 2017, he also directed “Akira” starring Sonakshi Sinha, but it did not perform well at the box office. His next projects, the Rajinikanth starrer Darbar and the Tamil-Telugu bilingual Spyder failed to achieve the expected success.

AR Murgadoss took a break from directing after 2020’s Darbar and the Salman Khan starrer will be his comeback. According to sources, this will be the biggest collaboration ever between Salman and Sajid, and the two are looking to take the operation to the next level.

Earlier, there were reports that Salman is teaming up with another Tamil director Atlee for Dabangg 4, but there is no official confirmation yet.
