Minister of Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sekena Itu, visited SMHS Hospital Srinagar today, to inquire about the well -being of Ekigam Budgam’s young student Adofar Imtiaz, who faced serious injuries due to an electric shock incident.
During the journey, the minister held a detailed discussion with the doctors and medical staff present to get the first information about the student’s status and ongoing treatment. He directed the Principal GMC to ensure the best possible treatment to the injured student.
Expressing deep concern over the unfortunate incident, the minister also interacted with family members and attendants of the injured student. He assured him of all possible support from the government during this difficult time.
The minister assured him that accountability will be decided on the incident and fast action will be taken against those responsible for this negligence.
He also prayed for early recovery of the injured student and expressed solidarity with the family.
