Lminister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena iToo today made a comprehensive tour of Birwah constituency of District Budgam and dedicated several infrastructure projects for public purposes.
During the visit, the minister inaugurated the newly constructed building of the Government High School Batapora Kainihama, Atal Tinkering Lab and the new secondary school of the information communication technology lab, Library Block and Lecture Hall in GDC Birwa and GDC Birwa in Lecture Hall and newly constructed educational blocks of newly constructed educational blocks, the newly constructed building of Birwa, the newly constructed educational block.
During the visit, Minister Sekena also put the Foundation Stone of the Center for Excellence at the District Institute of Education and Training (Diet) Birwah Budgam.
During the tour of the constituency, Sakeena iToo also inspected CHC Magam and SDH Bearwah. He conducted a detailed inspection of these health facilities and reviewed the available health facilities. He also interacted with medical staff as well as patients and their attendants.
During these trips, Minister Sekena also interacted with public delegations and individuals in CHC Magam and Diet Birwah.
Addressing the gathering at these places, the minister highlighted that the present government focuses on the overall development of Jammu and Kashmir with emphasis on the educational infrastructure of world class standards as well as educational infrastructure.
“Our aim is clear, to ensure that every citizen has access to equal opportunities and facilities, regardless of the location, Sekena said.
The minister further said that during the initial months, the government has taken some important steps for the welfare of the people. He said that pension has increased for old age, widow, especially arbitrary persons and other classes.
Minister Sekaina further said that the government also announced a remarkable step for the welfare of women by announcing free transport for her. He said that this unique step will lead the Tom liberation of women in Jammu and Kashmir.
Talking to several public delegations and individuals on the occasion, Minister Sekena said that this government is formed by trusts and votes and we are firm to work for the welfare and development of common people. He assured public delegations and individuals that their actual issues and concerns would be immediately resolved.
MLA Birwah, Dr. Shafi Ahmed Wani; MLA Chadura, Ali Mohammad Dar; Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education, Shantmanu; Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Social Welfare, School Education, Health, College, Director of Family Welfare and AYUSH, senior officials of the district administration and other concerned officials also accompanied the minister during the visit.
