Sakeena ITO, Satish Sharma, Zadibal, Hassanabad do the Imam to take care of the process of Baras

Srinagar, June 18: Minister of Health and Medical Education, Minister of Social Welfare and Education, Sequena Itu along with food, civil supply and consumer Affairs, Information Technology and Transport Minister, Satish Sharma today visited Imam Bara Zadibal and Imam Bara Hasanabad, reviewing the preparations and arrangements being prepared to observe the holy month of Muhram-Herm.

During the visit to Imam Bara in Zadibal, ministers interacted with local representatives, community leaders and members of the Shia community.

MLA Zadibal, Tanveer Ali Sadiq; MLA Hazratbal, Salman Ali Sagar; Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Commissioner SMC, Director Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Kashmir, Director Health Services Kashmir, Chief Engineer KPDCL, PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, senior officials, PWD and other departments were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Sekena said that the Muharram has a deep spiritual and cultural significance for the Muslim community and it is our collective responsibility to provide the atmosphere of dignity, safety and comfort to the mourning persons.

He instructed the officials to deploy sufficient number of ambulances as well as blood storage units during the procession during the procession.

The minister directed the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar to set up a district level control room for better coordination of the concerned departments.

Minister Sekena also emphasized the importance of uninterrupted electricity and water supply, sanitation measures and proper traffic regulation during the mourning period. He emphasized the need for spontaneous coordination between various departments to ensure peaceful and respectable conduct of all Muharram processions and ceremonies.

The Minister also directed the SMC Commissioner to take immediate measures for cleanliness and drains in other routes leading to Zadibal, Almagari Bazaar, Madan Sahib Havildar and Imambaras and through which the procession should be passed so that people do not face any difficulty.

During the visit, Minister Satish Sharma also interacted with local representatives. He assured them that adequate stocks of the required supply would be made available during this holy month.

On this occasion, Minister Sekena Itu also paid orders in the temple of Mir Shams-ud-Din Muhammad Arki (RA)

Later, the ministers also visited Imam Bara Hasanabad and reviewed the arrangement of Muharram.

During the journey, the ministers had a detailed conversation with local Shia leaders and public representatives, to have the first-hand reaction to the arrangements to be implemented during the holy month of Muharram-ul-Haram.

On this occasion, Minister Sekena passed the line departments in several ONSPOT directions and emphasized detailed arrangements and especially provided the facility of following important action on the 9th and 10th of Muharram. He assured the public that all real issues would be immediately prevented to follow the sacred month smoothly.

Later, the ministers made a broad tour of the Mir Behari Dal, which were in the interiors of the densely populated Shia areas.

On the occasion, the ministers held a public conversation and met the score of the people of the Shia community and assured them that adequate arrangements would be made on the eve of Muharram ul Haram.

On this occasion, Minister Sekena said that this government is elected by the public and is for the public, saying that all real issues will be prevented in consultation with the concerned departments. He further said that adequate employees will be posted in schools in this region within days.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Satish Sharma said that adequate ration supply will be maintained during the holy month in this area. He also said that adequate solar lights will also be installed in many areas of Mir Behari Dal.
