Saira Banu reveals Pran braved ‘raging’ storm to be part of Dilip Kumar’s Baraat: ‘Sahib’s sheer joy…’

Saira Banu wrote on Instagram: “Pran Sahab means a lot to Sahib. Sahib himself, the brilliant Satish Bhalla and Pran Sahab; they were best friends. Before we got married, the three would drive to the Marine Drive late at night . There, Pran Sahab and Satish Bhalla would stop in front of our house in Pali Hill and honk their horns until Sahib took a leisurely walk with them, enjoying their leisurely state.”

She quoted Dilip Kumar as saying: “The most memorable display of his care and affection for me was when he braved a storm in Srinagar and took a flight from there to Delhi, which was All the other passengers wisely decided not to board the flight. But before Bharat left for Saira’s house, Pran flew to Mumbai to reach my house. He hugged me over and over without saying a word.”

“I still remember how happy Sahib was when Pran Sahab managed to attend our Nikah, despite the fierce storm and speculation to the contrary.
