Reuben Amorim has responded to kobi menuBrother wearing T-shirt demanding to “liberate” his sibling from the season of trouble Manchester United,
England international Manu’s brother, Jordan Manu-Haims, wore a T-shirt at Old Trafford on Monday that read, “free kobi menu”, a clear message to the club hierarchy and to Amorim, who have yet to give the midfielder a league start this season.
Former United players Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt have publicly advised Manu to seek a transfer, but Amorim sees it as part of a wider problem and said the right approach is to stay put and prove him wrong.

United will be without the suspended Casemiro at Aston Villa on Sunday and he said Manu’s chances of playing would not be affected because of his brother.
He explained: “It wasn’t Kobe who wore the T-shirt. He wouldn’t start because of the T-shirt or go to the bench because of it. If he’s the right player to play he’ll play. I’m not going to do anything to Kobe because someone in his family is doing something.
“So it’s not an issue. I’ve been here a year, it’s nothing new. We’ve got to deal with it, but I’m not going to do anything to Kobe because someone in his family is doing something. It’s just the way it is. If he’s the right guy to play, he’ll play.”
Amorim is also managing the dissatisfaction of captain Bruno Fernandes The Portugal midfielder told Canal 11 When Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal showed interest he was hurt by the club’s desire to release him.
Fernandes said that he could have left in the close season transfer window but stayed not only for his family, but also because he really loved the club.
“He said exactly what he was feeling. We already know the noise, but he spoke to the board and I think everything is clear,” Amorim said. “We just talked about his feelings and he needs to respond to it, not me. He gives everything and puts everything on the line. We need to move forward and keep that feeling too.
“He’s a big example in the group. He expresses his emotions and when I watch him train and play, he’s a special character.”
