Reuben Amorim Made clear his anger and frustration after his madness Manchester United Team struggles to take lead in Old Trafford draw West Ham,

Their brilliant five-game unbeaten streak came to an end in their last home outing 10 days ago everton Won 1-0 against a disappointing host team.

United responded with a 2–1 comeback win at Crystal Palace on Sunday, but failed to continue that result at Old Trafford.

Soungoutou Magassa canceled out Diogo Dalot’s second-half strike by converting a final corner, giving West Ham a point and leaving Amorim furious.

“It’s disappointing, it’s angry, that’s all,” he said of his feelings in a brief response earlier in the post-match press conference.

Emphasizing how he can get the team to perform better, the Portuguese said: “It’s all about working again and trying to win the next match.”

Amorim looked his angriest yet at a United press conference, lashing out at some journalists and hitting back at suggestions that United had fallen behind in recent weeks.

“It is not going backwards,” he said. “The results are going to be overturned. We had some moments. It can happen.”

“You were talking about how the team was really perfect when we had that performance and saying we’re not that far away from the perfect moment. We’ve been really inconsistent.

“But if you look at the goal, 83 minutes, we have a long ball, we have everything under control and we need to do better.”

Amorim plans to brief his players on Friday when he has calmed down, unlike when he watched a giant television in the dressing room after the 3-1 defeat to Brighton in January.

The United boss referred to that incident after this latest setback, as well as October’s 4-2 win against the same opponents when they had to sweat to look in control.

“In that regard, I’m almost always consistent,” he said. “I had one and you know. Brighton last year. I’ll talk to them tomorrow.”

“I always feel – I think everyone feels – that we need to score more goals.

“Even with Brighton (in October) we were 3-0 up and then suddenly (we conceded twice). We suffer from that, we are inconsistent and we need to improve.”

United returned to action on Monday against Wolves without a win, but they cannot take things for granted after failing to beat the 18th-placed team on home soil.

West Ham traveled to Brighton on Sunday and boss Nuno Espirito Santo said: “I think it was a good performance overall.

“In the first half we maintained control. I think the momentum at the beginning of the game was ours. We made combinations, we created corners, the energy was there.

“Even though we conceded, the second half went very well. I think the reaction was very positive. We dominated, we controlled, we went for it and I think it’s well deserved that we got a draw.

“The game can go either way but I am happy with the performance,” he said.

“I think even when we lost to Liverpool (last time) we competed well as a team. We got punished for mistakes.

“But I think the response and the character was there today, so it’s a small step in what we need to do to improve a lot of things. It’s tough given the urgency of the situation but we’ll keep going.”
