RSS is the place where ‘I’ starts from ‘I’: PM Modi

New Delhi, October 1 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Wednesday that an organization focusing on character development to assist in nation building is an organization that inspires individuals to transition from ‘I’ to ‘Hum’.

He said that Dr. in Delhi Addressing the program of RSS centenary celebrations at Ambedkar International Center, “The way the human communities live on the banks of a river, similarly, many Jeevan have flourished with the stream of the association. The Sangh has touched every aspect of this country,” he said.

The Prime Minister said, “The RSS has many sub-organizations, but all are united with a purpose-‘President I’ (Nation First). No two sub-organizations do not contradict or struggle with each other,” the Prime Minister said.

Emphasizing that the RSS “took a strong resolution of the National Building”, PM Modi said, “To achieve this resolve, the Sangh chose the journey of personal development for the national development. And to complete it, an organization which was regularly operated.

He said, “Sangh is an organization of inspiration from where a volunteer’s journey begins with ‘Main’ from ‘Hum’,” he said.

The Prime Minister mentioned that the process of character-building can still be seen in the RSS branches, which serve as a “sacred platform for character development”.

“Within these branches, a person undergoes physical, mental and social development. A strong sense of national service and courage continuously blooms in the hearts of Swamsevax … The great purpose of nation development, a clear path of character development and a simple work like a person have become the foundation of a colon,” he said.

Recalling the contribution of the RSS to the Hedarwar and Recalling the contribution of the RSS to the freedom struggle, PM Modi said, “We see that Dr. Hedar and many union employees actively participated in the freedom movement. Dr. Hedwar imprisoned himself in Nagpur jail.”

The Prime Minister said that during the National Service visit, there was repeated conspiracy to attack the RSS, but the organization did not allow these attacks to dominate it.

“It is not that the Sangh has never faced attacks or conspiracies. Even after independence, efforts were made repeatedly to crush the organization and prevent it from entering the mainstream. Guruji was falsely implicated in a case and even when he was released, he spoke with a remarkable composition, which is a powerful source in history.”

He said, “How many conspiracies were forged against the Sangh, Swayamsevak never paid any attention to be sharp.”
