Royal Mail The UK is set to revolutionize its prestigious postbox design with a 3,500 solar-operated “Postbox of the Future” rollout.
These innovative units have a digitally active drop-down drawer, especially designed to accommodate large parcels as a showbox.

“This trend will continue only as online shopping, especially no signs of slowing down with the bounce of the other hand markets.
“There are 115,000 postboxes in the UK which are located within half a mile of 98% address, which makes them the most convenient network of parcel drop-off points in the UK.
“Our message is clear, if you have a royal mail label on your parcel, and it fits, put it in the postbox and we will do the rest.”
Royal Mail stated that the rollout is part of its drive so that it is possible to post, collect and return the convenient parcel as possible.
With its home delivery and collection services, the company said that now there are more than 23,500 parcel points across the UK, including lockers, assembled+ stores, Post office Branches, Royal Mail Customer Service points and existing parcel postbox.
