Manchester City Will be without key midfielder rodri for saturday Premier League clash with everton,

The England international appears to have undergone a turnaround after falling down the pecking order at City over the past two seasons.

“The impact has been massive since day one,” Guardiola admitted when asked about Grealish’s form. “He has started playing minute by minute and that is what he wants.
“The pre-season we spent with him – and he’s a lovely lad – but for different reasons he didn’t play many minutes. He’s back to the real business, playing every game.”
Guardiola has not spoken to Grealish since completing his switch to the Toffees in August.
“Hopefully tomorrow, if he comes to the Etihad, we will be able to see him,” said the Spaniard.
Guardiola teased that he would love to see Grealish play in the game.
“These are the rules. If I became a CEO or chairman of a big organization in England I would probably change them,” he said.
“It would be good if they play. If they don’t it’s because of the rules. To be honest, I don’t have any opinion.”
Former City performance analyst Carles Planchaert recently said that he felt Guardiola needed a break to “revitalise” after more than nine years at City.
Guardiola said: “He’s right – but in 2035, I’ll start thinking about it!”
Guardiola is determined to take City back to the top after Liverpool ended their four-year reign as champions during the 2024/25 season.
“We want to reach the final stages of the competitions. That’s my goal,” he said.
“I see the things we’re doing much, much, much better than last season. Every game, we’re a little better and better. That can give me energy.
“That work is not done, it is completely unfinished business, and that’s why I’m here.”
