On Sunday, two persons suffered serious injuries after hitting a road divider in CIDCO Pulwama.
Official sources told GNS that a Mahindra Bolero lost control due to overspeeding on registration number JK13E-0711 and entered the divide, resulting in injuries to both the residents.
The injured have been identified as Shabir Ahmed Mir, son of GH. Mohammad Mir, a resident of Prureu Pulwama, and Mushtaq Ahmed Bajran, son of Kallu Bajran, Kaithalan Keller, resident of Shopian.
He said that Mushtaq Ahmed Bajran was seriously injured in the accident and was sent to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment. Shabir Ahmed Mir’s status has been described as stable.
The police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is going on. (GNS)
