OTTAWA-Statistics Canada says the number of Canadian-resident return trips from the US in July fell 36.9 percent a year ago, falling from the US to a year ago, a decline of seventh consecutive month.
The agency says that the number of returns trips by CAR by Car by Car by Car in July was 1.7 million.
The decline was a total of 1.8 million in July as American visiting Canada by Automobiles, 7.4 percent from the same month in 2024.
Meanwhile, the Canadian-resident return trips from abroad by air were 1.4 million in July, 5.3 percent below the same month, as the number of air returning trips from the US was 25.8 percent less than a year ago. The number of Canadian-resident withdrawal trips from foreign countries increased by 5.9 percent to one million.
In July, the non -resident arrival in Canada from the wind was 1.4 million, 3.1 percent from a year ago.
Overall, Statistics Canada says that early reading of canadian residents and non-residents jointly returned by air and automobiles was 15.6 percent below July 2024 in July.
