A discovery and rescue operation was started on Tuesday to locate a boy in the Jhelum River in Padgampora area of Avantpora for fear of the possibility of drowning.
Officials told GNS that a team of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) started combating the river to find the boy (identified), which was reportedly drowned in the river Jhelum.
By the time this report was filed by the rescue teams, the body was running to detect and reconstruct the body.
