Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are interested in signing Stanislav Lobotka from Napoli in the summer transfer window, according to CMW.
Liverpool linked with Napoli midfielder Stanislav Lobotka
The Italian news outlet has claimed that Liverpool are ready to pay as much as €50 million (£44 million) in transfer fees to Italian club Napoli for Lobotka.
The report has suggested that Napoli, who are at the top of the Serie A table at the moment, could struggle to refuse to turn down that kind of offer.
Could a summer transfer happen?
In our view, Liverpool are unlikely to be able to sign Stanislav Lobotka from Napoli in the summer transfer window.
Okay, we know that Liverpool are a massive club and have a huge pulling power.
But, Napoli are going places.
It is now almost inevitable that the Naples outfit will win Serie A this season.
And Napoli have also progressed to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
We do not see Lobotka – described as “the most complete (midfielder) in Serie A” by England manager Fabio Capello in Il Mattino – leave Napoli at the end of the season.
And Napoli themselves are unlikely to sell any of their best players, unless, of course, they get a massive offer.
