History repeated itself (in terrible fashion) and most probably no idea.

In 1987, the same river, the same exact area, even the same camp was killed almost equally rapid floods.
To keep an eye:
1987: The children of the church camp were taken by the Gwadalup River.
2025: This is happening again. The same river. The same type of camp.
About 40 years are different.
The same area.
The same type of children.

And because we do not report on the basis of the video posted on Twitter, I have done my research and here I have found everything about that incident:
Date and location: On July 17, 1987, a flash Flood hit the Guadalup River near the comfort of Texas, during a church camp in Pot O’Gold Renge.
Rain and floods: The river increased by 29 feet due to 10–12 inches of rain, which was the highest in recorded history 31.5 feet.
Camp is included: More than 300 children, mostly Balch Springs, were participating in the camp, from the Cigovela Road Baptist Church in TX. The floods started the morning withdrawal.
Tragic: The last bus carrying 43 people (39 teenagers, 4 adults) stopped at a low water crossing. As he attempted to run on foot, a huge water wall was swept away in the river.
Number of casualties: 10 teenagers drowned. 9 bodies were recovered; Never found one.
Live people: 33 people (including all four adults) were rescued, airlifted by many helicopters with treatops.
Rescue team: Texas DPS, US Army and a San Antonio News Station played an important role in rescue efforts.
Result: A monument plaque was made; The dangerous road was made 15 feet high to prevent recurrence.
Cultural effect: The incident inspired in 1989 Rescue 911 Segment and 1993 TV Movie Flood: Who will save our children?
legacy: The tragedy gives a serious reminiscent of the flash flood hazards of the Texas Hill Country, especially during summer camps, and Drew attracted a renewed attention during similar 2025 floods.
