Remo D’Souza’s Wife Lizelle D’Souza Denies Receiving A Death Threat Email

Remo D’Souza’s wife Lizelle D’Souza has reacted to receiving alleged death threats. 

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Lizelle D’Souza has refuted the report, calling it false.

She said, “No, it is false, nothing as such. Even we read it. We got spam emails on the company email ID regarding something else, for which we informed the cops. The cyber department is looking into it, and they also feel it is spam.”

She added, “There is nothing to worry about it. If there is anything, the police will look into it. I don’t know why it is linked to death threats. Maybe the media has misinterpreted. It may be for someone else, and they must have clubbed things with others.”

Apart from Remo D’Souza, Rajpal Yadav and Kapil Sharma have also received death threats via email, recently.

The email read, “We are monitoring your recent activities and we believe it is important that we bring to your attention a sensitive matter. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you, we urge you to treat this message with utmost seriousness and confidentiality.”

The sender signed off as Bishnu.

Police have said that celebrities were asked to reply within 8 hours otherwise, they would face consequences. 

Meanwhile, Rajpal Yadav received the mail on December 14, 2024. He filed the complaint with police on December 17, 2024.

In an audio message, Rajpal Yadav told NDTV, “I have filed a complaint with Amboli Police and cyber crime department. After that, I have not discussed it with anyone. I am an artiste and I want to entertain the audience with my performances. The agencies can update on these matters.”

The reports come days after an intruder attacked Saif Ali Khan at his Bandra home on January 16, 2025.
