"Religious fanaticism cannot be interacted with the nation, hatred against India": Rajnath Singh

Removing the possibilities of dialogue between India and Pakistan, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Monday that there could be no interaction with the nation that does not have “quota of democracy”, and only “religious fanaticism and hatred” against India.

Addressing the lower house of Parliament on Operation Sindoor, the Defense Minister took a jib in Pakistan, saying that dialogue can be held only when the nation is “democratic and civilized”.

“… dialogue can be done with civilized and democratic countries. But a nation that does not have a quota of democracy, and only religious fanaticism and hatred against India, cannot have a dialogue with them … The language of terrorism is not fear, blood and hatred, the voice of dialogue.

Rajnath Singh criticized Pakistan for arranging the state funeral for terrorists.

“There should be no doubt about Pakistan’s intentions and policy … The Pakistani government arranges the state funeral for terrorists, and army officials participate in them …” he said.

Reiterating the central government’s policy on terrorism, Singh said that “New India” can go to any extent against terrorism under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The minister said, “Those who dream of giving a thousand cuts to India, they should now wake up … This is a new India which can go to any extent against terrorism under the leadership of PM Modi …” the minister said.

The Union Minister further stated that the Government of India made several attempts to establish peace between the two countries but it failed, and therefore, India adopted a different route to establish peace through “surgical and air strike”.
