The Redmi Turbo 3 has been launched in China, offering a major upgrade over last year’s Redmi Note 12 Turbo. The new model is equipped with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS interface. It features an OLED display with 1.5K resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. The phone features a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary rear camera. Redmi Turbo 3 is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 90W wired fast charging. In addition to the standard version, Xiaomi also launched the Redmi Turbo 3 Harry Potter Limited Edition.

Meanwhile, the 16GB + 512GB model is priced at CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs. 28,000) and the top-end 16GB + 1TB model is priced at CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs. 32,000). Currently on pre-sale in China, there are three colors available: ice titanium, green blade, and black crystal (black). The phone is scheduled to go on sale on April 15.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi Turbo 3 runs Xiaomi’s HyperOS interface and is equipped with a 6.7-inch 1.5K (1,220×2,712 pixels) resolution OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, HDR10+ support, Dolby Vision support, and a peak brightness of 2,400 nits special. It runs on 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset with up to 16GB of LPPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage.

In terms of optics, the Redmi Turbo 3 features a dual rear camera unit with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) with f/1.59 aperture and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. For selfies and video chats, there is a 20-megapixel front-facing camera.

Connectivity options on the Redmi Turbo 3 include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou, and USB Type-C port. Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, gyroscope, infrared remote control, ultrasonic distance sensor, and X-axis linear motor. In addition, the phone is equipped with an under-screen fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock function. The phone also comes with Dolby Atmos-enabled stereo speakers and has an IP64-rated dust and splash-proof construction.

Redmi Turbo 3 is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 90W fast charging. The fast charging technology is said to provide up to 13 hours of short video playback time on a single charge. The phone measures 160×74.4×7.8mm and weighs 179 grams.
