Toronto’s Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) is working for one of its busy work in history, as thousands of job seekers are expected to attend the annual job fair on Wednesday.
Young Canadian bounces between harassing labor trends for people. Statistics Canada reports that unemployment among children between 14 and 24 years of age is about 14 percent, while Ontario is out of one of the four teenagers-the highest level in the grains.
CNE has already received 54,000 online applications for seasonal roles at the largest Canadian fair. There are more than 5,000 jobs available in this summer, including cashiers, game attendants, food service workers, midway operators and positions for informative guides.
The fair opens its doors to the public on 15 August.
Last year, 81 percent of CNE employees were between 14 and 29 years of age, while 78 percent were identified as visible minorities. Fifteen percent reported disability. Last year, the fair hired more than 5,000 seasonal employees and attracted about 1.5 million visitors during their 18-day runs, contributing about $ 112 million to the GTA economy.
The job seekers will start the lining in the exhibition Place Hall C on Wednesday morning, in which the doors will open at 11 am
