Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd on Wednesday announced that it has received over 70,000 confirmed bookings for the new Sierra SUV on the first day of bookings. Additionally, around 1.35 lakh potential customers have submitted their preferred configurations and are in the process of completing the booking formalities.

The Tata Sierra SUV, which was launched in India on November 25, is priced between ₹11.49 lakh to ₹21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings are open with initial payment of ₹21,000. The SUV is offered in multiple variants with petrol and diesel engine options and is positioned above the Tata Curve in the company’s product portfolio.

Additionally, the company on Tuesday celebrated India’s victory in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 by gifting the first unit of Tata Sierra to the members of the Indian women’s cricket team. The SUV was presented during a felicitation ceremony in Mumbai, which was attended by senior leadership from the Tata Group and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles.

The ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 champion team features N. Chandrasekaran, Chairman, Tata Sons and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited (TMPVL) and Shailesh Chandra, MD & CEO, TMPVL, with the newly launched Tata Sierra SUV.

The Tata Sierra features a boxy design inspired by the original model, updated with contemporary styling elements. The front fascia includes gloss-black accents connecting the LED headlamps and daytime running lights to the Tata logo and Sierra badge, as well as bumper-mounted skid plates and fog lamps.

Inside, the Sierra offers a premium cabin highlighted by a three-screen dashboard and a four-spoke steering wheel shared with the Tata Curve. Key features include JBL audio system, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging and ventilated front seats. The interior also features soft-touch materials and practical comfort-oriented features.

Higher variants come equipped with Level 2 ADAS, connected car technology, powered seats and a powered tailgate.

Positioned above the Tata Curve, the Sierra competes against models like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Carens Clavis, Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota Hayrider in the C-SUV segment.
