Rebel Wilson talks about her emotional journey behind ‘Rebellion Rising’

Rebel Wilson recently opened up about her inspiration for Rebel Rising.

Reflecting on his emotional weight loss journey, the comedian explained, “I hope my book sends a message to people that if they’re an emotional eater like me, this book isn’t about that stuff .”

“It’s really about dealing with your emotions in a healthier way, and there’s no magic solution,” the 44-year-old said.

Rebel also mentioned that the change in appearance also brought about a change in the attention paid to her by those around her.

“My weight loss got a lot of attention,” continued Senior grades actor.

Rebel pointed out, and I thought, “Oh my gosh, people are so interested in this.” I focused on weight loss more, literally, than any movie I’ve ever done. ”

“I know it’s superficial, but it’s fine. I’m like, ‘Oh, is this what sexy people go through all the time?'” the actress and comedian said.

Rebel notes, “They must have been very happy in their lives.”

Elaborating on how she maintains this “positive reinforcement,” the actress said, “It’s interesting to know exactly what it’s like to be sexually invisible and then become visible. I’ve experienced both sides of the coin.”

“Perhaps me telling my story might encourage them to do the same and make healthy changes in their lives,” she added.
