Realme GT Neo 6 SE confirmed to be equipped with Snapdragon 7 series SoC

Realme GT Neo 6 SE is expected to be launched in China soon and the company has started revealing the specifications of the phone. The Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed the name of the phone via Chinese microblogging site Weibo and announced that it will be powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 7 series chips. The phone is expected to debut alongside the more powerful Realme GT Neo 6, which is said to be powered by the rumored Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.

The company posted on Weibo that comfirmed The Realme GT Neo 6 SE will be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor – this mid-range chip (part number SM7675) will also power the OnePlus Ace 3V, which is about to debut in China. Realme has yet to reveal details on when the phone will be launched in other markets like China and India.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 is the fastest model in the company’s Snapdragon 7 series, featuring a Cortex-X4 Prime core clocked at 2.8GHz, four Cortex-A720 “performance” cores clocked at 2.61GHz, and Three “efficiency” cores clocked at 1.9GHz. megahertz. The mobile platform has a similar architecture to Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset launched in October 2023.

According to a Chinese tipster, according to previous reports, the successor of Realme GT Neo 5 SE will come with a 1.5K LTPO OLED screen, which is comparable to that of flagship smartphones. The phone is also said to have a 5,500mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging.

Last year, the company launched the Realme GT Neo 5 SE with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset and a triple rear camera setup that included a 64-megapixel primary camera. The smartphone features a 6.74-inch 1.5K screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 16-megapixel front-facing selfie camera. The company is also expected to use the GT Neo 5 SE’s 5,500mAh battery and 100W charging in a follow-up product launching in China in the coming weeks.
