• The GoFundMe page describes Spodick as a man who cared deeply for others and had a unique love for animals, including his four dogs and a bird.
• The fundraiser, aimed at covering the cost of the funeral and memorial service, immediate living expenses for his mother and care needs for his pets, has raised more than $28,000 toward its $35,000 goal.
