Rashami Desai reveals why she slammed Ranveer Singh and Johnny Sins’ ad: ‘I felt bad because…’

Rashami Desai opens up about her trending post slamming Ranveer Singh and Johnny Sins’ ad. For the uninitiated, earlier this week Ranveer released an ad targeting erectile dysfunction. The ad was shot in the style of a TV series set and poked fun at some of the exaggerated scenes seen in Indian TV soap operas. Rashami, who has been working in the television industry for several years, called the ad an insult to the industry. In a new interview, Rashami clarified that the post was not directed at Ranveer but at those who came up with the concept.

“This has nothing to do with Ranveer Singh. I don’t want any complications to happen. My words are very clear,” Rashami told Hindustan Times in a new interview. She added that she was struck by the way the television industry was represented in the ads. “In television, we have never shown anything like this. People have always laughed at the small screen, but when it comes to promoting (movies) it comes to television. Television is the most influential but also the most demeaning. There is no balance of respect . I feel bad because I’ve been working here,” she said.

Rashami started her acting career by starring in the film Bhojpuri before entering the television industry in 2006. The actress has appeared in shows like “Pari Hoon Main” (2008), “Uttaran” (2009), “Dil Se Dil Tak” (2017), “Naagin 4” (2017), among others. 2020), in addition to a few reality shows.

While Rashami expressed disappointment over the ad, Ranveer is yet to respond to her statement. The new advert has been released as part of the #TakeBoldCareOfHer campaign. Ranveer, who is the brand ambassador of Bold Care, plays Johnny’s brother-in-law in an Indian TV drama style and talks about sex. Ranveer is the co-founder of the company. In a statement to the media, Ranveer said he “sincerely hopes to use his influence to raise awareness and make a positive impact”.
