New York:
On Friday, an American judge refused to bid the bid of Scene “Didi” Comombs, to delay his upcoming sex-trafficking trials for two months.
US District Judge Arun Subramanian said that Hip-hop Mogul made his request very close to his testing. The jury selection is currently starting on May 5 with a statement starting on 5 May.
The 55 -year -old Comombs has not convicted five criminal cases that include racketering and sex trafficking. Prosecutors with the Manhattan American Attorney Office say Combs used its business empire to sexually abuse women between 2004 and 2024.
Comombs lawyers say that the sexual activity described by the prosecutors was agreed.
In filing in a court on Wednesday, Combs’ counsel Mark Agnifilo asked Subramanian to delay the trial as he needed longer to prepare his defense in the new allegations brought on 4 April. Agifilo also said that defense requires more time to review the email that wants to turn on an alleged victim.
The federal prosecutors were against any delay, writing in Thursday court, writing that there was no amount for much new conduct in additional allegations brought earlier this month. He said that Combes were not entitled to the alleged victim’s communication.
Subramanian is also weighing other clear issues, such as whether the alleged victims are allowed to testify under the pseudo -names.
Puff Daddy and P. Also known during her career as Diddy, Comombs founded the Bad Boy Records and Mary J. in the 1990s and the 2000s. It is credited with helping turns and R&B singers such as Blees, Faith Evans, notorious Big and Ashur and R&B singers.
But the prosecutors have said that his success hid a dark side. He says that in his alleged abuse, women were involved to participate in a sexual performance called “Freak of” with male sex workers, which were sometimes taken to state lines.
Comombs have been imprisoned in Brooklyn since September.
