Pakistan’s National Central Bureau of Interpol said that Britain officials have sought assistance from the local police in finding and locating the stolen vehicle from the North English city.
According to Arab News, a senior Karachi Police officer, Amjad Ahmed Sheikh, who is the head of the Anti-car lifting cell of the Karachi Police, said, “We have received a letter from Interpol … It has been requested to assist in recovering a vehicle stolen from Britain.”
He said, “Since the place he had provided for this stolen vehicle in 2022 was dated February, we have emailed them to request the present place.”
“Once we get the updated place, action will be initiated and the vehicle will be recovered.”
The original owner of the vehicle remains unknown, while the Range Rover is listed as theft in the Global Interpol Database.
The Interpol of Pakistan received a request from his colleagues in Manchester at the end of last month after the tracker indicated its location in Pakistan.
This is not the first time that a luxury car stolen in Britain has been found in Pakistan.
