Ramban police attach property under UAPA Section 25

According to a release, Ramban police on Wednesday attached the property under Section 25 of the Prevention of illegal activities under the jurisdiction of the police station Dharkund of District Ramban.

In an important step to combat terrorism, the Ramban Police has attached a property -agricultural land measuring 1 kanal 11 Marla under Section 25 of the Prevention of Unlawful Activities Act, 1967 (UAPA).

The attached properties include the land measuring 1 Kanal 11 Marla, which is registered after a PoK settled militant Ali Mohammed.

The assets have been duly recorded in the revenue records, and the notice that restricted its sales or transfer is served under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

This attachment case FIR number 02/2024 U/S 120-B/121-A/IPC, 13/18/20/39 is connected to the police station Dharmakund and was executed in the presence of a police team and an executive magistrate, ensuring complete compliance of legal procedures.

This action is an important milestone in the ongoing investigation into illegal and destructive activities in the field. It throws light on the dedication of the Ramban police to neutralize the dangers for national security and maintain peace and order.

Earlier on April 5, Ramban Police attached two properties in the Gul area under UAPA.
This action is part of the ongoing investigation in illegal activities in the sector.

The attached properties include agricultural land measuring 10.18 kanals, which is now officially recorded in the revenue records. One of the attached plots is 7 kanal and 3 Marlus land, registered in the name of Mohammed, who is a resident of Dalwa Tehsil, Gaol. Another plot measuring 3 kanals and 15 marlus is registered after Mohammad Younis, a resident of Hara Tehsil, Gaol.

Both properties are located in various villages within the Gul region and are now prohibited from selling or transferred under UAPA.

The case under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and UAPA, along with criminal conspiracy and classes related to terrorism, was attached to the case registered under FIR No. 04/2024 after investigation. (AI)
