Ram Janmabhoomi: New flights to Ayodhya to be grounded from 8 cities as tourist demand rises

To enhance air connectivity with Ayodhya and facilitate pilgrims reaching the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Eight new routes to the temple town were almost delineated on Thursday.

The new flights will connect Ayodhya with Delhi, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Patna, Darbhanga, Mumbai and Bengaluru. The move is in response to increasing tourist demand following the recent inauguration of the Ram temple. The tourism potential of Ayodhya has paved a new path for economic and social development.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in December last year. The airport was constructed at a cost of Rs 3.5 billion. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who was present at the event, said flight services from Ayodhya to Delhi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru had been successfully launched earlier Open. He emphasized that the completion of the new airport marks the bright future of Ayodhya.
